Introducing…Kevin

Hi there and welcome! My name is Kevin Dolan. I was born in Washington D.C., moved to State College, PA as a toddler, and then returned to DC in middle school and completed high school there before heading to Indiana University. I was so lucky to have experienced moving at a young age and was extremely fortunate to grow up in such an incredible city like Washington D.C., surrounded by art, culture, and history.

I became involved in Musical Theatre at a very young age, thanks to an incredible children’s theater program in State College, Singing Onstage. That put me on a track to begin performing as a child actor in productions at Penn State University, and then professionally in New York and Philadelphia. Because of this, I knew early on that I wanted to pursue a life on the stage and am very grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to do so.

Since departing from Bloomington, IN with my BFA in Musical Theatre, I have recently relocated to New York City where I have been pursuing performing opportunities while working nontheatrically. I don’t know what amazing things life has in store for me next now that I’m moving onto the next chapter of my life, but I am eager for the challenges ahead and excited for the future!

Kevin Dolan: “The Artist”

Kevin Dolan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from Indiana University in May of 2022.

His Indiana University credits include: The ThreePenny Opera (Macheath); Carrie: The Musical (Ensemble); Into the Woods (Baker); Footloose (Chuck Cranston);  Big Fish (Don Price); Little Women (Mr. Laurence); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Jacob, Issachar); and Hunchback of Notre Dame (Male Ensemble).

Kevin Dolan: “The Crooner”

During his time at Indiana University, Kevin was a four-year member of IU’s only all-male a capella group, Another Round. The group, stemming from viral group “Straight No Chaser”, has a deep set, performing all-time classics as well as new, more contemporary material. Consisting of 12 men, the group performs professionally both in Bloomington and beyond.  Kevin was inspired by his time with Another Round and now wants to take his newfound love for crooning and make it something special that family, friends, and strangers can be a part of.

“The Athlete”

Beyond performing, Kevin has avid interest in sports and athletics, specifically how athleticism and artistry intersect within the performing arts industry. Kevin played four years of varsity rugby in high school and won a National Championship. Kevin is a Certified Pilates Instructor and uses his certification as a way to connect with other artists in an athletic medium while also maintaining optimum physical health.
